We are dedicated to responsibly raising exceptional AKC Standard Poodles in our home in Montgomery, Texas. Our dogs are known for their outstanding temperaments and are genetically health-tested and OFA-certified to support the health and well-being of each puppy we produce.
We specialize in breeding beautiful Apricot and Red Standard Poodles with rich color, correct black points, and adherence to breed standards.
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
At Miller Creek Standard Poodles, our goal is to produce healthy, structurally sound, intelligent, and affectionate
Standard Poodles that become cherished members of their families. We are committed to responsible breeding
practices and strive to uphold the AKC Standard through careful selection for health, temperament, structure,
and appearance. Our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive genetic health testing through Embark and are clear
of more than 230 genetic conditions. In addition, they have been evaluated and certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) for hips, elbows, and cardiac health. We focus on breeding solid-colored Standard Poodles with correct black points, exceptional temperaments, and strong adherence to breed standards.

Located in Montgomery, Texas, just north of the Houston area, we are a small, family-centered breeding program.
With one dam and one upcoming sire, we intentionally produce only one to two carefully planned litters each year, allowing us to give every puppy the individualized attention and care they deserve.
Our commitment to intentional early development and socialization is a defining aspect of our program.
helping each puppy reach its full potential from the very beginning. We believe the critical experiences puppies
receive during their earliest weeks have a lasting impact on their confidence, adaptability, and overall success as
family companions. We implement Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) during
the first 16 days of life and begin sound desensitization, grooming introduction, and exposure to a variety of
everyday experiences at an early age. Our puppies are raised in our home and regularly interact with children, adults, other dogs, and cats, helping them develop into confident, well-socialized, and well-adjusted companions.

Our Standard Poodles typically mature between 40 and 55 pounds.
They are beloved members of our family and participate in our daily lives, accompanying us on many of
our adventures. Every puppy raised at Miller Creek Standard Poodles receives abundant love, care, and attention
from our entire family, providing the best possible start before joining their forever homes.
